  1. Really can't argue with anything here, just one question, you didn't like Marlene Dietrich in Touch of Evil? I'd easily nominate her.

    1. I liked her just fine. She's good at the gypsy type and had a great last scene, but it's a strong year for supporting actresses.

  2. Off topic, but what do you think in general of Michael Fassbender, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and Tom Hardy?

    1. I love Tom Hardy a great deal and 2015 was a fantastic year for him, but as a fan I'm hoping he takes more diversified roles to play. Kidman and Blanchett used to be favorites of mine, Kidman mostly because starred Moulin Rouge, Dogville and Eyes Wide Shut (films I love). Blanchett has a great voice, an astonishing screen presence and her range is really incredible, but I still need to see a performance from her that truly blow my mind (I'm not There was close). Fassbender I've seen too little to say, liked him in Shame and loved in Macbeth, but I feel his best works are yet to come.

    2. I personally love all four (Blanchett blew me away in many movies, especially Carol, I'm not there and Blue Jasmine). I love Fassbender in almost everything, I think his performance in Shame is an all-time great, I suggest you to see Hunger. Hardy is a terrific actor and Kidman is amazing, she's so versatile (love the movie you mentioned, she's amazing in all three). Isn't she one of your favorites anymore? If so, why?

    3. She was one of my favorites when I started my cinephile journey, but then I discovered many other actresses over the years and she dropped out of my top 25. I kind of expected more from her praised performances in Birth and To Die For, but they really show she's a versatile actress as you said. I still expect she gives a performance which I can give her a win for, too bad Queen of Desert and Grace of Monaco were disappointing projects.
